Before appointment
To ensure optimal results and minimize bruising:
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen), fish oil, and vitamin E for 3–5 days prior, unless medically necessary
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face if possible
Inform your provider of any medications, supplements, or prior filler treatments
Reschedule if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or experiencing active skin infections or cold sores
Avoid dental procedures including cleanings two weeks before and after treatment

DURING TREATMENT
Dermal filler treatments are precise and minimally invasive:

Filler is injected into targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula
Most clients report minimal discomfort
Treatment typically takes 30–90 mins
Topical arnica or a healing ointment will be applied to area after treatment

Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to treated areas for 24 hours
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 24–48 hours
Avoid facials, advanced skin treatments, and massages for 2 weeks
Some swelling and bruising is normal and typically resolves within 7–14 days
